With
that out of the way, here we go!
SelectGlobal, LLC is an expansion of the work we created at SelectChicago, NFP.
While we learned a lot, we found more and more of our requests for services were
falling outside of the greater Chicago area. Furthermore, many of the requests were beyond trade promotion and in conflict with the 501(c)3 nature of
SelectChicago NFP. In fall of 2022 we decided it was best to start a new
company.
SelectGlobal, LLC is a one stop shop to create and implement bi-lateral foreign direct investment (FDI) solutions for investors, companies, and local units of government.
We believe that by connecting these groups together we can utilize foreign direct investment as a multifaceted tool for revitalizing and re-energizing commercial areas, further growing economies, as well as creating and retaining valuable local jobs.
SelectGlobal, LLC has many of the same players you already know, like and trust. Over the coming months, new people will be joining our team as well.
SelectGlobal, LLC will continue to work with municipalities, trade
commissioners, foreign companies, global investors, and local business in
creating foreign direct investment solutions.
However, our offerings and deliverables will be quite different. |

We have always been known for producing quality events, tours and conferences
as well as attending marquee gatherings all over the world. This year is
no different.
Over the next 90 days here is what we have planned:
Michael Edgar, will be attending the Game Developers Conference March 20-24 in
San Francisco. Let him know if you have time to meet with him while he is in
SFO!
ProChile - Springtime Pisco Social at Helix 51
On March 30, 2023, in partnership with ProChile, we will be co-hosting a tour of Helix 51 bioscience incubator at Rosalind Franklin University with international trade commissioners and local businesses as a ticketed reception and mixology course in Pisco.
 In April, Michael will be attending the Business Facilities LiveXchange
Conference in Myrtle Beach, SC to help scout sites and projects for our
Foreign Companies & Global Investors.
 We will be back at SelectUSA Investment Summit, Washington D.C. May 1-4 to meet with a multitude of trade
delegations, current and past U.S. Commerce Department professionals as well as speed date targeted companies looking to expand to the USA.

Lastly, we will still be supporting and partnering with CITCA and ITAGC throughout the year as well as planning missions abroad in 2024.
